Scarlett Johannson made her weather announcing debut on "Today."

The 27-year-old actress took over for regular weatherman Al Rocker, who has a bad case of laryngitis but graciously held an umbrella for Johansson while she did her job. When asked by host Matt Lauer if she had experience, she replied, "I have a lot of experience with weather, yes."

The "Avengers" star mentioned that the experience was a "dream come true" and even added her own signoff like Roker, saying, "Here's what's happening in your neck of the woods."

Johnansson was dressed for winter during her appearance on "Today" and didn't show off her new tattoo. The actress recently got a new tattoo on her ribcage that features a horseshoe and the phrase "Lucky You," done by French graffiti and tattoo artist Fuzi Uvtpk. Johansson got the tattoo while in Paris earlier in November when she stopped by his artist-in-residence session at Le Salon, according to MSN.

Uvtpk is famous for his surreal cartoonish-style, which has been inked onto many fans. His portfolio features a broad range of work from the mild to more risqué works of art.

The "Lucky You" horseshoe isn't Johansson's first tattoo. The actress also has a sunrise on her left inner-forearm, a bracelet on her right wrist and an infinity-style tattoo on her right inner-ankle.

The actress is reportedly still single after splitting in October with her ex-boyfriend Nate Naylor. Johansson was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds, who recently married "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively. Johansson might be trying to be "lucky" in love, as she's been unofficially linked to a number of bachelors, including ex-boyfriend Jared Leto and artist Domingo Zapata.

Johansson stars in the new film "Hitchcock" alongside Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Toni Collette and Jessica Biel.
