Dancing With the Stars did very well with this year's Emmy nominations. The show is nominated for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program for the 10th consecutive year, while host Tom Bergeron received his eighth consecutive nomination for the Host category.

Additionally, the show has a presence in the Outstanding Choreography category. Nominated dancers and choreographers include Witney Carson for "369 / It's Not Unusual / Sing With A Swing-Apache" and Derek Hough, Julianne Hough and Tessandra Chavez for their "Elastic Heart" routine.

The reality series also scored nominations in Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special, Outstanding Lighting Design | Lighting Direction for a Variety Series, Outstanding Makeup for a Multi-Camera Series or Special (Non-Prosthetic), and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Series.

Will this finally be the year Dancing With the Stars takes home the Emmy trophy? CBS's The Amazing Race has had a stranglehold on the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category since the category's inception in 2003. Only Bravo's Top Chef and NBC's The Voice have been able to score single wins over the years.

Dancing With the Stars is currently celebrating its 10-year anniversary on the air, which is a remarkable feat for any show, let alone a reality series. It has been a juggernaut for ABC since it began in 2005, and while ratings have declined, it is still one of the network's top shows.

The Emmys will take place Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
