In the Season 6 finale, Kath Graham's character Bonnie as well as the other Mystic Falls' residents had to say their goodbyes to Elena, but it's not because she was dying.

Kai (Chris Wood) concocted quite the spell, in which Bonnie and Elena cannot be living life at the same time so Elena is presently in a slumber until Bonnie dies.

At San Diego Comic-Con, which was earlier this month, Graham chatted with BuddyTV all about Bonnie's feelings about Elena not being present with her.

"I think the character feels everything," Graham dished about Bonnie, adding, "I think she feels relieved that she knows eventually Elena will come back."

Bonnie in the past has felt plenty of guilt for various reasons, including the death of her grandmother, but Graham believes with the current situation she won't feel as much guilt since Bonnie will reflect on what Elena told her in the Season 6 finale as they said their goodbyes.

"Just remembering that emotional impact that Elena had on Bonnie will take away some of the guilt," Graham shared.

Graham feels as though Bonnie's in a state of showing a lot of strength given all she's gone through.

"She's extremely strong and powerful without all the magic and then with the magic she's kind of lethal," Graham explained, adding, "This is a character that's come back strong and obviously she's going to want to do right by herself, by Elena and whoever else that she's lost in the process. She's going to want to not sacrifice anymore. If she lost all of this, she's going to make it count."

It sounds like Bonnie will be kicking butt on the next season of TVD.
