"Naruto Shippuden" has finally completed the journey. Naruto began airing in 2002, and since then, it has become one of the most popular anime and manga series worldwide, with more than 200 million readers and viewers. The story of "Naruto" has ended in the most satisfying way possible.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 500 was everything any fan could have hoped for. In fact, fans have been waiting for this moment since the end of Kaguya and the 4th Great Ninja War. In episode 499, fans get to see Iruka still having problems with his congratulatory speech and Sixth Hokage Kakashi getting depressed over having to select whom to let attend Naruto's wedding by examining the gifts.

Before "Naruto Shippuden" episode 500 started, Hinata finds out about Kakashi's secret mission given to everyone and is hurt. She insists him to not send away anyone as Naruto and Hinata would understand. However, Kakashi finally finds out a plan that would allow every Hidden Leaf shinobi to go to Hinata and Naruto's wedding reception.

In "Naruto Shippuden" final episode, Naruto visits Iruka, who is still having problems coming up with his congratulatory speech and asks Iruka to stand as Naruto's father. This makes Iruka emotional and he starts thinking about how much Naruto has grown up from his scroll stealing days.

As "Naruto Shippuden" episode 500 starts, fans see Naruto's wedding preparations and Kakashi going off to different countries to seek help in carrying out the missions. Thanks to Konohamaru, everyone including Orochimaru records a congratulatory message to Naruto and Hinata and Iruka manages to record his message as well.

In the reception, fans get to see new pairs of Shikamaru and Temari, as well as Sai and Ino. While Sakura looks at these pairs, a hawk lands on her hands and delivers a note from Sasuke, conveying congratulations to the marrying couple. Meanwhile, Rock Lee and Might Guy are seen having fun juggling weights with their feet and Tenten trying to keep them from ruining Naruto's and Hinata's special day.

As fans get to see the marrying couple, Hinata looks up at Naruto lovingly and smiles, while Naruto smiles back. With congratulations and blessings from Hinata's father, the pair walks out of the door to meet the guests.

As the series wraps up, fans get to see what is waiting for Naruto's next chapter, which will be focussing mainly on Naruto's son Boruto. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" airs on April 5th.
