'American Horror Story' Star Finn Wittrock Says Matt Bomer Is 'Not Happy' With Him In 'Hotel'

Amick will be part of the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel, the fifth season in the horror anthology series. The actress teased the news on Twitter Thursday, with the following message:

This is the official American Horror Story font, so her followers took this as an indication that she had been cast in the show.

Evan Peters May Be Playing A 'Howard Hughes-Type Eccentric' In 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Then at the TCA Summer Press Tour, AHS boss Ryan Murphy confirmed that Amick will indeed be in the new season.

Amick should be relatively well known to television watchers, especially those who are fans of darker, cult shows. She rose to fame on the ABC series Twin Peaks where she played waitress Shelly Johnson. For two seasons she starred as witch Wendy Beauchamp in Lifetime's Witches of East End.

The role Amick will play in American Horror Story: Hotel is unknown at this time but based on her past roles, she will probably fit right in on the spooky show.

The cast of AHS: Hotel also includes Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare, Finn Wittrock, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloë Sevigny, Max Greenfield, Emma Roberts, Naomi Campbell and Lily Rabe. Glee star Darren Criss is also rumored to be joining in a recurring role.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX, though the network has yet to announced a specific premiere date.
