Get ready, Bridgerton fans, especially you easy swooners: Viscount Anthony Bridgerton himself, Mr. Jonathan Bailey, will be playing opposite the equally dazzling Matt Bomer in an upcoming limited series, Fellow Travelers, on Showtime.

Bailey will play a young Fordham University graduate in this political thriller, based on a novel by Thomas Mallon about McCarthy-era Washington.

World War II may have just ended, but there's still a big storm coming for this gay character - especially when he meets and falls in love with Bomer's "Hawk" Fuller - who you might recognize from American Horror Story or White Collar.

According to TVLine:

"The pair begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on "subversives and sexual deviants," initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history.

"Over the course of four decades, Hawk and Tim cross paths through the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fueled disco hedonism of the 1970s and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, while facing obstacles in the world and in themselves."

Production on this eight-episode drama is set to begin later this month in Toronto - and don't worry, Bridgertonians, it isn't likely to interfere with the production of Bridgerton season 3.
