Will Joe Anglim have better luck in Survivor: Cambodia than he did in Worlds Apart?

'Survivor: Cambodia' Tribe Color, Name & Divisions Leaked

Joe was one of 20 players selected by America to return for a second chance to play Survivor. The 26-year-old jewelry designer was by far the most popular player from Survivor: Worlds Apart, so it's no wonder he's getting another chance to play the game.

With his huge reputation, he may have trouble getting far in Cambodia, but first, let's take a look back on his Worlds Apart game.

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Reveals How 'Cambodia' Is Different From Other Returning Player Seasons

Joe found himself in a leadership position from the get-go as part of the Nagarote (No Collar) tribe. He formed bonds with Hali Ford and Jenn Brown and the trio essentially ran their tribe until the tribe swap. He convinced Will Sims II to split the vote between Nina Poersch and Vince Sly at their first Tribal Council, but Will did not go with the plan and voted for Vince instead of Nina. This sent Vince home, but in the next episode, Nina was voted out, leaving Joe-Jenn-Hali as a trio with Will on the outside.

At the tribe swap, Joe was switched to the Escameca tribe while Hali, Jenn and Will stayed with Nagarote. Joe's tribe won the next Immunity Challenge, keeping him safe, but the tribe wound up losing the next one. While Joe became a target for elimination, Mike Holloway saw Rodney Lavoie Jr. and Joaquin Souberbielle getting very close and wanted to split them up right away. So Joe joined Mike, Dan Foley and Sierra Dawn Thomas in voting out Joaquin.

The merge took place, and Joe went back to his No Collar alliance of Jenn and Hali. Will switched sides and voted with the Mike group, while the No Collars gained an ally in Shirin Oskooi. Joe won the first two individual Immunity Challenges, solidifying himself as the biggest physical threat in the game. While the Mike alliance voted for Jenn at the merge Tribal Council, Jenn played her Idol and sent home Kelly Remington.

The No Collars were not able to win anyone to their side, so Hali went home in the next Tribal Council, making her the first member of the jury. Then, Joe wound up losing the next Immunity Challenge so he was swiftly voted out of the game.

All throughout the season, Joe had the reputation of being a "golden boy," considering his physical prowess, his good looks and his nice-guy approach to the game.

Now, heading into Cambodia, Joe is going to need all the help he can get. Considering how fresh Joe's game is in people's minds, he is bound to be an early target in the game unless he really helps save his tribe with a series of Immunity wins. But if Joe makes himself seem less threatening, his likable personality could win him several allies to move forward with in the game.

Cambodia Prediction: Joe will probably be a target in the beginning of the game but his physical prowess will save him from being a super early boot. But as the merge approaches, many savvy players will recognize Joe as a big Immunity threat. He will make it to the merge while his tribe still needs his strength, though just like in Worlds Apart, he won't make it past the first few Tribal Councils after that.

We predict: 10th place.
