Throughout the first several episodes of the MTV reality show, Lowry's marriage to Javi Marroquin has been on the rocks, and judging by the footage, the majority of their issues appear to be based on Lowry's social life and Marroquin's insecurities. However, according to Lowry, things seen on the show aren't quite as they are in her real life.

Kailyn Lowry Tells Javi Marroquin They Are On The 'Edge' Of Getting Divorced On 'Teen Mom 2'

Lowry and Marroquin went through a rough patch during filming on season six, and, as Lowry has admitted, they nearly ended up divorced.

During a recent chat with her co-star, Lowry spoke of her and Marroquin's "breaking point."

“I don’t know who came to the point first, but it was just like, ’Let’s do it or not,'” Lowry explained to Chelsea Houska during a filming of the Teen Mom 2: After Show, via MTV News. “If Javi didn’t want to work it out, if he would have been like, ’Let’s just get divorced,’ I think I would have been like, ’Okay.'”
