According to Gossip Cop on Wednesday, a Life & Style report is claiming the movie star couple has been getting "intense marriage counseling" from Pitt's mother, Jane.

"She came down really hard on both of them for not trying hard enough," an insider supposedly said.

It was then stated that that Pitt and Jolie's issues were just "rich Hollywood problems" that were "fixable." And apparently Jane read them verses from the bible about love and told the actress she needs to "submit" to her husband.

Pitt and Jolie were claimed to have been "mortified and offended" by these tips, but "softened after realizing she genuinely had good intentions."

It doesn't seem like anyone needs to worry because Gossip Cop made it clear that this is all nonsense. A source close to Pitt old the site that this is "not true."

A previous report from In Touch spread a rumor last June that the couple planned to call it quits.

"He's the one who's calling time on their marriage. He told Angie it's over," a supposed insider said via Hollywood Life. "He's beyond miserable and wants out."

Clearly, the tabloids can't get enough of these two, but overall, it seems like everything is okay. Pitt and Jolie will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 23.
