Ellen Page made a dashing appearance on the red carpet with her lovely lady.

Ellen Page & 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Chatter

On Sunday, E! News posted a photo of the actress with her girlfriend, Samantha Thomas, at the Toronto International Film Festival, which also happened to be the first red carpet premiere for the couple.

Page was at the event for the premiere of her latest film Freeheld. Since this has been an important project for her, she thought this was a great time to bring Thomas with her.

"I'm in love," Page said with a smile.

She added that "walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend's hand is pretty special."

The two ladies donned fancy tuxedo outfits as they smiled for the cameras.

The actress took to her Instagram page to post a group shot with her woman as well as some other dear friends.

Page announced she was gay in early 2014 at Human Rights Campaign Foundation Conference in a heartfelt speech.

"I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility," the 28-year-old said. "I also do it selfishly because I'm tired of hiding. And I'm tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered, and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of that pain."
