Brandy Norwood can add another high to her string of recent success.

Norwood, 33, is officially engaged to music executive Ryan Press, Love B. Scott reported Dec. 25.

The singer, known as Brandy, has a daughter, Sy'rai, 10, with Robert "Big Bert" Smith, a record producer and songwriter. A source told Us Weekly about the engaged couple, "They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right." 

The "Game" star previously shared why she and Press have a great relationship.

"He just loves me for who I am," Brandy told Us Weekly in August. "I don't have to camouflage anything for him or put on a mask. I can completely be myself and he loves me so much and I love him just the way he is, too."

Brandy released her sixth studio album "Two Eleven" in October. The album and its first single, a duet with Chris Brown, "Put It Down," has had success on the Billboard charts since its release. The album debuted at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with the first three weeks of sales reaching 65,000 copies. It also debuted on top of the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart.

Brandy currently stars in BET's hit comedy "The Game." She plays Chardonnay in the show that is a spin-off of the Kelsey Grammer-produced CW series "Girlfriends."

Like many other celebrities, the "What About Us" singer was rumored to be pregnant January 2011, but she denied a report by gossip site Media Takeout that was she was pregnant on her official Twitter account in January.

"Media takeout is a hilarious! Now I'm expecting a child? WOW!!! Please check out the story for your morning comedy..lol," she wrote.

Brandy appears in Tyler Perry's next film, "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor." The movie also stars Kim Kardashian, who previously dated Brandy's brother Ray J.

Ray J appeared in the infamous sex tape with the reality star that leaked in 2009.

Perry's film also stars Jurnee Smollett, Robbie Jones, Jerry Stiller and Vanessa Williams. The film will arrive in theaters March 29, 2013.
