Zayn Malik has been pretty mum for the most part on social media as of lately.

Zayn Malik Fills His New Instagram Account With Black & White Pictures Over Labor Day Weekend!

Previously while initially departing from One Direction the 22-year-old Brit had a few rumbles online with the likes of his former pal Naughty Boy and Taylor Swift's beau Calvin Harris.

His social media presence then underwent a facelift as he debuted a new Instagram account and ever since he has been rather hush-hush. It's obvious he's working on his debut solo music given previous teases of pictures from studio sessions and more.

Why Isn't Simon Cowell 'In Touch' With Zayn Malik?

A couple of days ago the singer shared a fortune from his fortune cookie, which seems to hold a lot of truth behind it.

"The world will soon be ready to receive your talents," the fortune states as Malik is embarking on his solo endeavor sans Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.

Then early Thursday morning he tweeted a bit cryptically what sounds like potential song lyrics. "I don't want you to wait for me, I'm not coming home," he shared.

If they are song lyrics they're pretty blunt and a tad harsh. People on Twitter are speculating the tweet is about Malik's ex Perrie Edwards, but she seems to have moved on as she has been having a blast with her Little Mix bandmates and other friends especially after coming off the high of performing at Apple Music Festival the other night.

Edwards went out with her bandmates and others after the festival gig concluded as seen in the pictures below.
