The cast and crew members of The Fosters are heading back to work to film new episodes.

On Wednesday, series creator Bradley Bredeweg took to Twitter to let fans know that starting on Thursday, he and his co-workers will begin shooting the remaining half of third season of the acclaimed ABC Family series.

Chatter On Jude & Connor's Relationship On 'The Fosters'

Sherri Saum, who plays Lena on the series, also took to Twitter to let fans know that she's about to get started on the rest of the third season with her co-worker Teri Polo who plays her wife, Stef, on the show. The two posed for a happy selfie so everyone can definitely expect more of the Foster moms.

The last new episode of the series dealt with some positive and negative emotions. First of all, Brandon and Callie let their romance fall into a steamy night at the cabin only for them to find out that Callie's possibility to be adopted by Stef and Lena became more of a guarantee. And as it turns out, Callie officially became part of the family.

One thing that probably left viewers in disappointment was Connor moving away from Jude. Even though it was for good reasons, it leaves questions on if they can make a long-distance relationship work or not.

The Fosters is expected to return this winter on ABC Family.
