The fourth episode of the new season of NCIS will air tonight, Oct. 13 and it means trouble for Director Vance (Rocky Carroll).

Who Will Tony DiNozzo Reunite With This Season On 'NCIS'?

The episode is called "Double Trouble" and it will focus on Vance relying on Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and the rest of the NCIS team to clear his name since he is being framed.

Vance will even be heading out into the field to work under Gibbs to see this case through and things will get sticky in that sense since he will bug Gibbs as he tries to take the leadership role despite needing to work under Gibbs.

Director Vance Will Be Framed In Next 'NCIS' Episode

The NCIS YouTube channel shared two sneak peeks into the episode, which you can check out below.

In the first sneak peek, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop (Emily Wickersham) are at the location of a murder where they're collecting evidence.

As McGee takes photos he asks Bishop, "NASA employee or just a fan?"

"Navy Seaman Apprentice Brian Dokes [Brett DelBuono]. Alexandria Police ID-ed him," Bishop reveals, adding, "Dokes only enlisted about six months ago so he had a ways to go before NASA."

"Well, it doesn't stop the dream," McGee says just as DiNozzo walks up saying, "car crash did."

Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum) is obviously on scene and gives his usual spiel about needing to conduct an autopsy to find out what truly killed the guy.

As DiNozzo opens the trunk of the deceased's car he finds "a crate full of grenades."

Then McGee uncovers a bag full of money "under the seat."

Gibbs then asks Bishop about the body, which prompts her to explain he did survive the crash and only made it so far from the car.

Once Ducky and Bishop roll over the deceased's body they notice his face is quite gruesome.

"Looks like his eye was ripped out," Bishop states, adding, "Can that happen in an accident?"

Ducky then talks about not jumping to conclusions, but Ducky believes the evidence of his face proves that the way he died was "no accident."

In the second sneak peek video, Gibbs and Vance are tailing someone and Vance is kind of complaining about Gibbs' authority over him.

"Although when I asked to tag along, I thought that this was going to be more like ya know Butch and Sundance. You're the quick draw, I'm the brains, kind of co-equals," Vance divulges, but Gibbs tells him that's not the case.

The conversation tappers off with Vance declaring, "I got nothing to prove except my innocence."

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
