Her fellow sister wife has been linked to the catfishing scandal that has recently blown up, but Sister Wives star Meri Brown is shutting down rumors Robyn had anything to do with the situation that has surrounded her.

Meri's Catfisher Is Confronted

In an interview with People Magazine, Meri denied the reports that Robyn was involved in the scandal, which saw Meri being involved in an emotional affair with a man she believed was named Samuel Cooper-but who has since been identified as a woman named Jackie Overton.

"It makes me sick to hear accusations that Robyn has been anything but loving and supportive through this unfortunate situation," she said.

She also reiterated that there has been no change in the relationship she and Robyn have had since Meri divorced Kody last year so that he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her three children. Because of that, rumors began surfacing when Meri confessed to having been catfished that Robyn had known the whole time it was happening, and did nothing to stop it.

"Robyn absolutely knew from the beginning that Meri was being catfished," sources said. "Robyn sat back and just watched as the whole scam unraveled."

However, Meri now says that it's all completely false, and she and Robyn have a stronger relationship than ever.

"Our relationship is strong and she has always been there for me, as have all of my family," she said. "Our family is holding strong together, as we always have and always will."

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
