Played by Stanley Weber, Comte de St. Germain (aka Paul Rakoczy) will enter the scene when Claire and Jamie head to Paris. Once over the Channel, the Highlander and the Sassenach will have to deal with the Parisian nobility. The outspoken Claire won't waste anytime making enemies.

The Comte will be one such problematic acquaintance.

The photo comes from the streets of Prague, which the Starz series is currently re-purposing to create 18 the century Paris.

Outlander's sophomore season will open in France. The first half of the run will focus on Jamie and Claire's attempts to turn the tide on the Jacobite Rising and, in doing so, change the face of Scottish history. The duo will then head back to the Highlands for a war torn second half of the season.

Outlander will return to Starz in 2016.
