LL Cool J to host 54th Grammy Awards

LL Cool J will host the 54th Annual Grammy Awards  televised nationwide Feb 12, on CBS.

The two-time Grammy awards winner says he is thrilled about the opportunity. 

 "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists is a dream come true," said LL Cool J in a statement today.

LL Cool J has been ever evolving from rapper to TV and movie actor. Currently, he is acting in the CBS show "NCIS: Los Angeles," with Chris O'Donnell.

Performers for the award include Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, Nicky Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and Jason Aldean.

"Great performances and great music - it's going to be a great night" said LL Cool J.
