Poor Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin). He had his heart broken once when Cath (Michele Borth) took a yearlong trip to the Middle East, and now the Navy lieutenant is off once more, her mission and future are matter of utmost secrecy. There is a chance, however, the Ms. Rollins could return later this season.

"A door was certainly left slightly ajar, though from what I hear that storyline will not be revisited any time soon," TV Line reported.

In the meantime, McGarrett will move on with his love life. He told Catherine he can't wait for her any longer, and his Five-0 mates helped him get back in the saddle once more during "Ka Papahana Holo Ponno." Soon enough, Steve will have a date with the adventurous Lynn (Sarah Carter).

"Carter will play Lynn, a nature enthusiast and avid explorer McGarrett takes to a remote island on an adventurous first date, where they stumble upon a criminal hideout that puts both of their lives in danger," Deadline teased.
