A Florida man was shocked with a stun gun and tied behind his ex-wife's truck before she dragged him along the road on Tuesday night.

The victim was identified as 54-year-old Robert Hall who was attacked by his ex-wife, 61-year-old Jeanette Morris.

Morris claimed that the incident stemmed over an argument about money and that Hall owed her $1,300 for staying at her home while she was away working as a truck driver, according to Reuters.

Hall claimed that Morris, along with her 63-year-old brother, Harold Anderson, and 46-year-old Joan Hobart tried to kill him.

Hall was reportedly shot with a stun gun as well as severely beaten. Another gun was put to his head and a rope was placed around his ankles that were tied to Morris's truck.

There was also alleged talk by Anderson as to burying Hall after he died, according to the police report.

Hall's ex-wife proceeded to drive down a rural dirt road for about a half a mile.

He was able to escape with some injuries and managed to make his way to a neighbor's house nearby still dragging the rope.

"There was an older guy with a rope around his neck and his underwear ripped from where he was drug," said Tyler Shevelan, the neighbor who found Hall, according to FOX 35 in Orlando. "He was bleeding from the backside, face, mouth, everywhere you can think of."

Hall was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach where doctors treated him for a broken pelvis, broken facial bones and bleeding on his brain.

Police arrested Morris, her brother and Hobart on charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, false imprisonment, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.

Local authorities questioned Morris, who denied her involvement and remains in custody awaiting release on bail.
