While Teresa Giudice’s prison sentence is intriguing to some, many don’t care to watch how her family is coping on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.

Will Teresa Giudice Have To Go To A Halfway House After Prison?

Apparently the ratings for the network’s three episode spinoff are not going over so well.

The New York Daily News reported Wednesday that Bravo was anxiously waiting to see how the show did after it followed the Giudice family during her stint in jail. One insider spoke on why fans aren’t tuning in like Bravo and even he Giudices hoped.

“Viewers don’t seem to want to support criminals, and Bravo is paying attention. They’ll see what the ratings are for the remaining parts and go from there.”

They also offered up some advice for Giudice, who often calls in and is heard speaking to her husband, Joe Giudice and their four daughters.

“She should play up how difficult it is so that when she comes out, people want to hear what she has to say. They have the daughter (Gia) saying Teresa looks great, Joe’s saying (the jail is) basically a low budget spa, they’re delivering diamond necklaces and Tersa’s doing yoga.”

On top of that, Joe spoke with Andy Cohen on the network’s Watch What Happens Live special just hours after the special debuted. That wasn’t necessarily a good look for him or the show.

“[It] did no favors for him. Bravo can clean them up (on ‘The Real Housewives’) and make them look like good people, but when you put him on TV, he is who he is and he doesn’t take accountability.”
