Telltale Games didn't just adhere to its gameplay excellence with its latest installment of Tales From The Borderlands, the digital developer also knocked it out of the park with its upcoming The Vault of the Traveler.

The Tales of the Borderlands series finale --slated for release on Nov. 25 -- will address a slew of unresolved questions from its prior episode, including but not limited to the following: The whereabouts of Vaughn, how Rhys will deal with Handsome Jack and what the status of Felix?

Most of this rather epic journey will transpire via flashback mode -- a happy place of sorts for Gorty, who appears healthy and lively.

To better equip themselves for the final battle, the usual protagonists comprise a team of supporting characters from various franchise episodes.

Following a rigorous duel with the likes of The Traveler, the faction rejoices. However, and quite certainly to the excitement of gaming loyalists worldwide, the groundwork appears to be set for one final scene -- perhaps a Tales of the Borderlands second season, or another part to the series -- the possibilities appear to be endless.

The game has garnered a ton of positive reviews, especially in terms of its creative direction.

"You'll find a better written and more engaging story than most of the fall's new TV shows. Tales from the Borderlands delivers through to the end, and has raised the bar for Telltale's future," according to Entertainment Weekly

Telltale's Tales From The Borderlands is set for release on Wednesday, Nov. 25. The game will be available in the following formats: iOS, PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
