While many parents out there have no access to their children's social media accounts whatsoever, 16-year-old Brooklyn Beckham has to check in with his parents whenever he wants to post anything on his public Instagram account.

According to Xpose on Friday, dad David said that he and his wife Victoria are very strict when it comes to social media, as they are very aware of the issues and complications that result from online bullying and revealing too much about your personal life online.

David said, "My 13 year-old [Romeo] has a private one because he's allowed to. But, apart from that, [they're not on social media]. I think you have to control what your children do to a certain extent.''

He also said that he's even stricter on his son Brooklyn, who has 5 million followers on Instagram.

He explained, "''I'm constantly on at my son who is 16. He doesn't post anything [on Instagram] without showing us [first]. He talks to us about everything, so we are very lucky.''

David and Victoria are also parents to 10-year-old Cruz and their 4-year-old daughter, Harper Seven.
