During a promotional interview "One for the Money" by E! Katherine Heigl was asked if she would consider returning to Grey's Anatomy.

Heigl responded "I've told them I want to."

Heigl played Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC's Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2010. In 2007 she won an Emmy for outstanding supporting actress.

Heigl left the series in 2010 to take care of her daughter Naleigh.
