Apparently America isn’t checking in for Teresa Giudice, and that’s causing a riff in the plans for Bravo’s upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The Giudices starred in a spinoff, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In but only drew in 1.231, 1.288 and 1.421 million viewers for the first three episodes.

One insider said earlier this week, “Bravo producers are worried that the show had such low ratings. This was the first time anyone heard from Teresa from behind bars and they expected fans to tune in to see how she was. But they realized that maybe she doesn’t have that many fans anymore.”

They added that the stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey have yet to receive their contracts, and given Giudice’s low viewership, Bravo isn’t necessarily pedal to the medal with handing them out.

“The ladies are worried bout their future with the show and are wondering when they’re going to get their contracts.”

As for Giudice, another source sid they aren’t sure bout her future on the show either.

“They are still trying to figure out Teresa’s situation. If people don’t like Teresa any more and advertisers are turned off, then what will affect the show in a big way. Bravo execs are weighing their options.”

This is a switch for the women, who in the past have received their contracts as early as at the reunion special.
