But did the couple ever stand a chance?

They faced lots of backlash and criticism from the moment they went public with their relationship in the summer of 2014. Things got even crazier when he popped the question just weeks later. But even after that, talk show host Wendy Williams took to her show to say they would never make it to their original wedding date, which was this past April.

On top of that, Bow Wow was facing lots of drama with a woman named Joie Chavis, who is the mother of his child. Interestingly enough, the two made up amid speculation that he and Mena split.



Mena revealed issues between her and Chavis on Snapchat when she tried to remind her that all she was was “just a baby mama.”

Speaking of their children, while Bow Wow is father to four-year-old Shai Moss, Erica Mena has a son, King who turned eight earlier this year. But Mena revealed in an interview that the two children never met one another, even after they were engaged to be married. Meanwhile, Bow Wow was referring to King as his “stepson” on social media.
