Barcelona vs Real Sociedad takes place on Saturday in La Liga as the Catalan giants look to take a tighter grip on another La Liga Spanish title. The game will kick off at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream through the live provided below.

Real Sociedad will be hosting this game, and will look to gain revenge for their embarrassing 5-1 defeat at the Nou Camp which came in August. However, they come up against a formidable opponent, and Barcelona currently stand nine points clear at the top of the La Liga table. Both Atletico Madrid and Read Madrid have been unable to keep up with the Catalan side and if they win again today then pressure will be on Jose Mourinho and his Real Madrid side to pick up three points on Sunday to ensure they do not fall 12 points behind.

Barcelona also come into this game on the back of a 12 match winning streak and are unbeaten in domestic soccer this season so far. Real Sociedad will know they have a mountain to climb in this game to poach the win. They currently lie ninth in the table, which is quite respectable, and they will be hoping to turn over the league’s best to drive themselves up the table over the second half of the season.

Sociedad may not be the best team, but they are difficult to beat. They have lost only one game since November 4 - a 4-3 defeat to Real Madrid on January 6, and even then Real were forced to pull everything they had out to finally see off a useful Sociedad side.

They have also been criticized for not being able to win enough - at the moment they have drawn five of their last eight games, and had they strung together a few more wins out of those they could be right up there competing for the Champions League positions for next season.

In a hopeful sign midweek, Barcelona did not win in their Copa del Rey quarter final match up against Malaga. They were held to a draw, and were unable to claim a first leg lead.
