Despite Cynthia Bailey getting physical with Porsha Wiliams this season on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Williams said she can relate to the model turned reality star.

Cynthia Bailey Defends Kicking Porsha Williams In The Gut

We saw Bailey’s marital woes play out on the show’s eighth season opener Sunday. Her husband, Peter Thomas, was caught red-handed (via a video that went viral) kissing and fondling another woman. Bailey confronted Thomas, who didn’t think he did anything wrong at first.

Well now, Williams is pointing out that she has gone through similar moments on national TV.

Williams told Bravo TV earlier this week, “I honestly felt sorry for Cynthia and saw myself in her. I too have been in a relationship and operated in total denial, and that’s what I thought she was doing. It’s just easier sometimes to put your head down, run your business and keep the peace.”

Williams also spoke on another much talked about moment on the show: Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield going head-to-head after Moore blasted Whitfield’s home she is building.

“I felt like Kenya had touched on a very sensitive subject and that it was disrespectful to gossip about Sheree’s business.”

She added that Moore doesn’t have much room to talk about anyone’s home as the foreclosed home she purchased in the same neighborhood was Whitfield’s and was pretty torn down itself.

“At least if I am going to talk about someone, I would like to be in a better position than them. Who are we to judge how long it should take for a house to be done? At the end of the day at least she does own it, whether she is in it or not!”

See more of the drama play out when the series airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
