Scheana Marie 2015: Lisa Vanderpump Talks Mike Shay Substance Abuse [VIDEO]

Scheana Marie revealed her husband Mike Shay's substance abuse issues on last night's Vanderpump Rules.

During the show, Scheana revealed Shay was taking up to five Vicodin pills per day, and drinking wine on top of them. In her Bravo TV blog, Scheana's boss at SUR Lounge, Lisa Vanderpump, weighed in on the situation.

"Five pills a day? I mean five Vicodin or whatever prescription drugs? I mean if I take one it knocks me sideways," Vanderpump wrote to fans on Monday.

Scheana came clean about her husband's issues with pills after Vanderpump claimed she should be nicer to Lala Kent, who claimed to have suffered a breakdown after being hired at SUR Lounge.

"I really hated seeing Scheana break down because she really worships Shay," Vanderpump said. "And that's one relationship in this company that I thought was rock solid. Scheana so much wants to fix this problem that she's taking it on herself, she's blaming herself like it's her fault. And it's not her fault."

"I hate to see Scheana struggling, but she doesn't understand," Vanderpump explained. "I've been married 33 years, and sometimes the first year can be the hardest."

Scheana and Shay got married last July during filming on Vanderpump Rules season three.
