Scheana Marie revealed Mike Shay's struggles with Vicodin and alcohol during last night's Vanderpump Rules.

On the show, Scheana, who married Shay in July of last year, told her SUR Lounge boss, Lisa Vanderpump, that her husband was drinking a lot, and mixing booze with up to five Vicodin pills per day. On Twitter, after the episode aired, Shay offered an apology.

During the episode, Scheana admitted Shay's pill habit went on for a while without her knowing, and her close friend, Ariana Madix, who is also close with Shay, recently said the same.

"Scheana is one of my closest friends, but Mike Shay is one of my best friends, as well," Madix explained to SheKnows. "We've had a lot of conversations on our own, and I was like, 'Wow, that's not something that I ever thought was going on with him.' And I felt really horribly that he didn't feel comfortable talking to anybody it, and that he was kind of suffering through this alone. It bummed me out on a level that's hard to describe."
