That's a possibility ever since the band appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden. According to Tuesday's report from Daily Mail, the host asked Styles about the song where his question was a play on Swift's popular hits.

"Now listen, listen, I don't want to have any 'Bad Blood' about this, and if this is a problem and we don't want to talk about it, can we just 'Shake It Off!' Who's the song about?" Corden asked.

Of course, this can only bring memories about Swift, but Styles kept it together with his answer. He didn't say that the song is about the "Bad Blood" singer, but he gave the impression that it easily could be.

"I think the thing with songwriting is everyone writes from personal experience," the heartthrob said. "It's not always necessarily what it sounds like it's about. Sometimes it is! And it's open to interpretation."

There is apparently some speculation about the song "Perfect" since it seemingly resembles Swift's hit "I Wish You Would."
