During a new interview, The Voice star looked back on the end of her 13-year marriage.

"I wish it didn't happen. I wish that all this wasn't happening," Stefani told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday. "But at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey."

Although the 46-year-old admitted there were "so many bad things" about her split from Rossdale (she didn't directly mention Us Weekly's report of his three-year affair with their nanny Mindy Mann), she said she has "a lot of joy right now," possibly due to her second chance at love with her co-star, Blake Shelton.

While Stefani avoided all talk of Rossdale and Mann's rumored relationship, she did mention missed signs.

"Because of my situation right now… I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff and I'm, like, I get sick. You look at the songs and go, 'That was a red flag!'" she explained.

Stefani also said her recent heartache had led to inspiration in the studio.

"In my life, I've had two really bad heartbreaks and I've written some really incredible music out of it," Stefani recalled. "I feel so lucky to have that, and to be able to share it. There's always good things that come out of bad things."
