Danielle Brooks spoke with Vogue recently about a variety of topics, including what's ahead for the next season of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.

Will Daya Reunite With Bennett Or Her Baby On 'Orange Is the New Black' Next Season?

Brooks, who plays the lovably outgoing Taystee Jefferson on Orange Is the New Black, told Vogue about how season 4 is big for her character.

"We left off with Taystee being the mom, taking over this role that Vee [Lorraine Toussaint] was in. We're going to see how she deals with that," Brooks revealed. "This season really drops in a totally different way. The prison is becoming overpopulated. All the new inmates really add more tension, and believe me, it is tense. This season is going to be epic. It's one of the best that they have written so far. There are some surprises that are going to tear you in half."

'Orange Is the New Black' Creator Jenji Kohan Dismisses Her Show Being Labeled

Very little else has been revealed about the fourth season of Orange Is the New Black. As Brooks noted, we left season 3 with the installation of new bunk beds to accommodate new prisoners into Litchfield.

How many of these new prisoners we'll get to know on a personal level remains to be seen, but hopefully the show's sprawling cast doesn't get too out of control and we continue to follow our old favorites.

Orange Is the New Black season 4 is expected to begin streaming next summer on Netflix. The first three seasons are currently available to stream on the site.
