A lot of fans might disagree, but Adele says that she's happy to know that she's finally on the same level of success as her chart-topping counterpart, Taylor Swift. The "Hello" singer, who recently smashed Swift's Vevo record with 27.7 million views of her new hit single, went on the record to share nothing but praise for their "Bad Blood" songstress.

According to Gossip Cop on Saturday, Adele opened up about her recent success during a sit-down interview on etalk Presents: Adele Live in London. She said there is no animosity between her and Swift, even though she poked fun at her "squad" which consists of mostly her supermodel friends.

Adele said, "I love Taylor Swift, and when I found out I was like that's pretty epic. Not beating her, but just being on the same level as her was fantastic, because I think she's wonderful."

In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this month, Adele admits that she quit smoking, goes to the gym now and cheekily makes fun of Swift and her pack of supermodel girlfriends.

"I've heard about a squad," she supposedly said with an amused snort. "I wish my squad was all supermodels. We are, in our brains. I guess I have my own squad. It's not as interesting as some of the other squads that are around right now. But maybe Rihanna can be in my squad! That would be really cool. Oh, God. She's life itself, isn't she? I love her."
