Scorpion's Walter O'Brien is going to have just a little trouble dealing with his sister's passing.

The genius avoided thinking about Megan's demise by attempting to save her consciousness, but when his foray into sci-fi didn't pan out, the Scorpion leader was forced to confront reality. Now that Megan is out of the picture, Walter's inability to deal with the situation will have his coworkers on edge.

"We'll see early on that Walter's way of dealing with his sister's passing is to not deal with it, and that will cause consternation and concern with the other geniuses and especially Paige," executive producer Nick Santora told E! Online.

By time "Dam Breakthrough" rolls around, however, Walt's grief will reach a breaking point.

"Eventually, and not too far after ["Arrivals & Departures], Walter's refusal to deal with Megan will come to a head two episodes later," Santora teased.

According to the EP, the Christmas Eve episode will showcase the "pure unadulterated love" Megan taught her little brother.
