Joe Jonas reportedly feels blindsided by Gigi Hadid's alleged new romance with former One Direction band member Zayn Malik.

Less than three weeks after Jonas and Hadid split, the Victoria's Secret model hit the town with Malik, and according to a source, Jonas can't believe his ex-girlfriend has moved on from their 5-month relaitonship so quickly.

“Joe was completely blindsided when he found out that Gigi and Zayn were an item," a source told Hollywood Life on Wednesday. "He was under the impression that she wasn’t going to see anyone for a while. The main reason why they broke up in the first place was because of her busy schedule. Gigi told Joe that her career was too demanding for a relationship. That she basically didn’t have the time for one because she needed to focus on her career. She’s obviously making the time for Zayn!”

After Jonas and Hadid split, a source claimed the breakup was the result of their hectic schedules--Jonas with his music, and Hadid with her demanding modeling career.

"Joe and Gigi’s relationship recently ended," a source told PEOPLE Magazine earlier this month. "Nothing serious happened ... it wasn’t a dramatic break up. It was just hard to make it work with their schedules. They will definitely remain friends."

On Monday, a source spoke to Us Weekly regarding Hadid's relationship with Malik.

"It’s a very new thing. They're just seeing where it goes," a source told the magazine, with a second adding, "I wouldn't call them boyfriend and girlfriend, but seeing each other? Definitely. He's chuffed."
