Dead Space 3 is confirmed to launch with 11 day-one downloadable content (DLC) packs when it is released on Feb. 5 in North America and on Feb. 8 in Europe.

The day-one DLC is comprised of elements designed to speed up the crafting process, makes it easier for players to harvest items for upgrades.

Geek.com reported that the full list of contents that will ship with the game, which is apparently worth over $50.

For $2.99 and under, players can get the Resource Pack, Epic Weapon & Resource Pack, and the Ultra Weapon & Resource Pack. Players will be able to download the First Contact Pack for free.

The day-one Dead Space 3 DLC for $4.99 includes: Bot Capacity Upgrade, Bot Personality Pack, Marauder Pack, Sharpshooter Pack, Tundra Recon Pack, Witness the Truth Pack, and Bot Accelerator.

The online pass for the game is priced at $9.99.

Game producer Steve Papoutsis said that even without purchasing DLC, users will find "more than enough resources... to fully experience [the game]," according to Eurogamer. "Whether by looting enemies, opening lockers, or exploring the world, you'll find more than enough resources in-game to fully experience Dead Space 3 on any difficulty level."

Papoutsis also talked about new Scavenger Bots which are robots that help players harvest resources.

"The Scavenger Bot's purpose is to give you an extra edge, since there's a bit of gameplay (and risk/reward) to using him and finding the richest resource caches," Papoutsis explained, adding that the autonolous robots will deliver the harvested resources to the Tool Construction bench. "You can also choose to download upgrades to the Scavenger Bot that double his capacity or speed up his trips to the bench."

Dead Space 3 will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
