No matter how many times the press tries to bury her in the past, it looks like Kate Gosselin always manages to remain in the headlines even though she's no longer the celebrity she used to be. In fact, thes single mother-of-eight was quite surprised and excited to find out that her fans were very thrilled to be seeing her back on the small screen with a special Kate Plus 8 episode on TLC this week.

The blonde beauty took to her Twitter page to not only live-tweet the show with her fans, but to also engage with them and answer questions about her day-to-day life with her family. Her reality show was originally axed back in 2012 but the TLC network promised her multiple specials so fans can stay up-to-date with the Gosselin family as they continue to grow.

Kate seemed to enjoy the frenzy though as she tweeted, "My Twitter feed is getting clogged! Trying to answer everyone ASAP! :)"

Many of her followers didn't seem to mind as they commented with, "Kate u should not be surprised that we all are here asking questions. We're so glad TLC brought y'all back to TV," along with, "Your Twitter will get clogged because you have a ton of fans that really support you and love you and kids."

Another fan wrote, "aw I was hoping to see you on a date this episode! I'll have to tune in next week ‪#KatePlus8."
