Months after losing custody of her twin girls with ex-husband Corey Simms, 5-year-old Ali and Aleeah, the Teen Mom 2 star took to Twitter, where she revealed what inspires her to stay strong.

On Oct. 13, one year after he filed for full custody, Messer faced off with Simms in court, and unfortunately for the mother of three, a judge ruled in his favor, and awarded Simms with primary custody of their daughters.

“Leah’s really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court," a source told In Touch Weekly of Messer's post-filing behavior. "The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody.”

Messer and the cast of Teen Mom 2, including Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska and Kailyn Lowry, are currently in production on season seven, which is expected to air on MTV sometime next year.
