Cage fighter Alex Reid may have announced he identifies as trans in a new interview.

Why Is Rose McGowan Pissed At Caitlyn Jenner?

After recreating Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover as a woman named Roxanne, Reid spoke to Star Magazine, confirming he relates to Jenner, and speaking up for transgender rights.

“Ever since I was a child I’ve been happy to dress up and play different characters,” Reid explained to the magazine, via Pink News on Wednesday, revealing he saw himself as transgender rather than a “drag queen or a female impersonator.”

“Bruce was mocked because trans people are the last social taboo," Reid went on to say. “We don’t have the same rights. Wow, I just said ‘we.’ I guess I am. Why not be trans? I’ve never truly identified with trans people, but I have lots of characteristics.”

“I believe we’re all souls. I could have been a woman. When the lights are off, we’re all souls,” he explained.

Currently, Reid is making a documentary about Roxanne, claiming she has become “the butt of so many jokes”.

“I was told to play dumb in the media, almost like it was dirty… It made me feel very insecure. I felt bullied,” he explained.
