Doctor Who's Twelve (Peter Capaldi) will be channeling the Grinch this holiday season, but the cantankerous Time Lord won't be able to avoid a good time, no matter how hard he tries. As he gallivants across the universe with River Song (Alex Kingston), he won't be at all pleased with his wife's plethora of new husbands.

"Whether or not you're sold on the chemistry between Peter Capaldi and Alex Kingston, it's clear from the Doctor's behavior that he's a bit put out by her dalliances with other men and her refusal to acknowledge their past," The Radio Times revealed.

But perhaps River's "refusal" is merely due to the pair's mismatched time lines. Steve Moffat has yet to reveal where in her Who journey River will be, and there is a chance that her history with the Doc will be far shorter than the last time we saw her.

"We're about to stand with the Doctor and see what River is like when she doesn't know he's looking," Moffat teased, according to Doctor Who TV.
