Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is a free woman!

Is Teresa Giudice Pulling The Plug On Her Marriage After Jail?

She left the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Ct. at 5 this morning.

An insider confirmed with People magazine just moments after, “She is thrilled that she is finally going home. Prison was tough for her. But she made the best of it. She couldn’t wait to get home to Joe and the girls from the minute she set foot in the prison. She is so happy and grateful that she is able to be home with them, for Christmas, no less.”

Her lawyer, James J. Leonard, Jr. also confirmed, “She is free.”

The reality star checked into jail on Jan. 5 of this year after she and her husband Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to several serious fraud charges. They were arrested back in 2013 and entered the plea roughly a year later. They could have been sentenced up to 50 years but the judge only handed Teresa 15 months; however, she ended up serving just under a year. She also allowed the spouses to do a staggered sentence so they both wouldn’t be away from their four daughters at the same time.

Joe will begin his sentence, which is a little harsher than Teresa’s, in early February. He was handed a little more than three years. He is also at risk of getting deported back to his home country of Italy. Word is he plans to fight that aggressively. But if he does end up having to leave the country, rumor has it that Teresa and the girls will go with him.
