It doesn't look like the holidays were very merry for Madonna and her family. In fact, there are reports that say Madonna's 15-year-old son Rocco refused to fly home to New York as he wanted to spend Christmas with his father Guy Ritchie in London instead. The incident led Madonna to seek a court order to force her son to come home.

Now, the controversial pop star is taking to her social media account to make a public plea for peace between her, Rocco and her ex-husband Guy. Madonna shared a photo of her and her teenage son and captioned it with, "Merry C-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life," while also adding a string of xoxo's and heart emojis.

According to Gossip Cop on Saturday though, it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon as Rocco has apparently told a judge in London that he wants to change his residence and live with his father in the British capital. Madonna currently has primary custody of the boy and if she and Guy can't resolve the issue, the matter might become an International custody battle. Reports do indicate though that Rocco and Guy have sought legal intervention in England and plan on fighting the American judge's order.

So far, neither Madonna nor Guy have made any public comments about the case.
