The mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone hasn't gotten an official release date, pricing and availability yet, however a new report hints that it might be arriving soon. This, according to a listing discovery on a retailer's Website of a pint-sized Galaxy S6 device along with a complete list of tentative specs, GSMArena reports. Speculation about a possible mini variant of Samsung's Galaxy S6 flagship phone kept rumor mill timbers hot earlier this year, although the fire began to diminish months ago.

We saw some live photos of what was allegedly supposed to be the Galaxy S6 Mini along with some hardware specs pop up, which up until now were just rumors. Cut to five months later and there's still some hope left thanks to a pre-order listing on the UAE based site, LetsTango. The preliminary, unofficial confirmed specifications posted in the webstore's listing support the existing whispers about the GS6 Mini.

The listing highlights some of the alleged key features of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini, including a 1.8 GHz hexa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and Google's Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Featuring a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display, the Galaxy S6 Mini is said to house a Adreno 418 graphics chip. On the rear of the phone is a 15MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies.

Like its bigger sibling, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini comes bundled with Samsung features like the TouchWiz UI, a PayPal certified fingerprint sensor, Samsung Pay, and Qi wireless charging support. The handset also offers Samsung's built-in hands free features such as S-Voice, Smart Stay, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll and Air gestures. While the listing doesn't specify the Galaxy S6 Mini's pricing and availability, anyone interested in the smartphone can submit their email address to be notified when or if it arrives.
