Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin have a strong yet grisly suggestion for a Netflix binge.

Over the weekend, the actress took to Instagram to post a photo of a documentary series called Making a Murderer, about a man who served 18 years for a crime he didn't commit, but gets on the line again.

In the caption, Tonkin wrote that this is one of the most "heartbreaking, terrifying infuriating documentaries" she's ever seen. She added that she hopes something good will come out of the series.

Wesley also watched the doc, writing the details on Twitter. He spent 10 hours watching it and mentioned it has a "terrifying look at our judicial system."

The film has 10 episodes on Netflix and can be watched with an account.

Meanwhile, Wesley and Tonkin seemed to have themselves a pleasant holiday season as they spent Christmas Eve together. The actress kissed her boyfriend on his cheek as he gave a dashing smile and she held a present.

Wesley is known for CW series The Vampire Diaries while Tonkin is known for The Originals.
