Country singer LeAnn Rimes updated her look with a sexy new hairstyle.

The How Do I Live singer tweeted a picture of herself with a new haircut that featured bangs as she sat in a salon chair on Feb. 9.

"Love my Andy Lacompte! I got banged," Rimes tweeted. "Love em! Was time for a fun change."

Michelle Obama was the last celebrity to tweet a picture of her new haircut with bangs. She debuted the look on her birthday, several days before the presidential inauguration on Jan. 21. A picture of the first lady's brand new bangs was posted on her new Twitter account, @FLOTUS, that same day.

Rimes' haircut may serve as a distraction to her public feud with Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. Glanville, the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, released her latest book Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders on Tuesday. The memoir reveals secrets about Cibrian, who left her and is now married to Rimes. Glanville slammed Rimes in her TODAY show interview the day the book was released.

Glanville told TODAY she wrote the book because Cibrian isn't providing financial support for their two children. She also admitted that she was "very angry" when she wrote the book.

"With Eddie not working and me having to pay my own bills, this book will help me do that," Glanville said on the morning show. "The fact that, unfortunately, I had to write this book, I have to pay the bills. He's not doing that for me."

Rimes, who began her affair with Cibrian during the filming of their 2009 Lifetime TV movie Northern Lights, wrote a cryptic tweet about Glanville's book on Twitter last week.

"To deflect the truth is just plain admission," Rimes tweeted.

Glanville, 40, and Cibrian, 39, divorced in 2010 after nine years of marriage a year after his affair with Rimes. Cibrian and Rimes, 30, married in 2011.
