Anne Hathaway has had yet another stroke of bad luck in the fashion department.

The 30-year-old experienced another wardrobe malfunction before she attended to the 2013 BAFTAs on Feb. 9. Hathaway revealed details of the incident during her recent appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday.

"I was getting ready for the BAFTAS and I was wearing this beautiful dress," Hathaway told Tonight Show host Jay Leno. "This dress had been custom-made for me by this designer and designed with me in mind."

Hathaway said when she put the dress on, the zipper broke. Her fashion stylist attempted to sew it back on but after several failed attempts to make it work, they eschewed the original dress because Hathaway looked like "a turkey that has been sewn together." Hathaway said they decided on another look when she realized they had another great option.

"How irritating am I? Most women don't even have one great dress, I have two," she told Leno.

So they went with the Burberry dress, which Hathaway won rave reviews for.  It was a short-sleeved black gown with shimmer detail by the British fashion label.

The Les Miserables actress did not reveal the fashion brands that custom made the dress she did not end up wearing to the 2013 BAFTAs.

Hathaway has had several wardrobe malfunctions since her last film Les Miserables opened on Christmas Day. She unknowingly flashed photographers at the movie premiere on Dec. 10 as she stepped out her chauffeured SUV at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City. She accidentally revealed she wasn't wearing any underwear to the event.

Hathaway had another wardrobe malfunction a month later on Jan. 10 at the Critics' Choice Awards but thankfully one of her films' co-stars saved the day. When the strap to Hathaway's Oscar De La Renta gown ripped, her Dark Knight Rises co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who was sitting next to her, happened to have a pin on him and used it to keep the strap fasted to her dress. Gordon-Levitt posted an adorable photo of the pair on Facebook

"Annie tore the strap on her dress, but luckily I had a pin :o)" Gordon-Levitt wrote.

A few weeks later at the SAG Awards, Hathaway's Giambattista Valldress didn't zip up properly.

"We almost had a full-blown disaster on our hands," Hathaway told USA Today. "(My stylist) didn't tell me about it until the next day. We tried on the dress and (the stylist) said, 'You know what, it's a funky little zipper, I don't want to do it up right now,' She made up some excuse and I didn't think about it."

She admitted that when she found out the next day about the near malfunction it was "stressful."

Hathaway will attend the upcoming Oscars on Feb. 24, where she is nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
