Season 4 is nearly upon us, and the series' latest promo shows that Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) is itching to hold fast to the power she wielded while King Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) was away.

'Vikings' Season 4 Premiere Date: Four Ominous Episode Titles Revealed, Ragnar's Crown In Danger?

"You mean after the death of Ragnar," the Seer counters, his blackened lips on the verge of giving Aslaug the answer she so desires.

As to what the answer is, well, viewers will have to wait until the Feb. 18 premiere to find out.

"She is much more her own woman," series creator Michael Hirst said of season 4 Aslaug, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "She's had a taste for power while he's been away and when we return in season four we'll see that she's enjoying that taste."

Ragnar should watch his back.

Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), meanwhile, will have her own issues to deal with. Her conflict with Kalf has yet to come to an end, but even as she seeks power in her own right, Bjorn's mother will continue to tear up the battlefield. Wherever Ragnar's will raid in 2016, you can be sure Lagertha will be by his side.
