According to People on Tuesday, the two spent quality time together for New Year's, but they're not an official couple at this point.

"Harry also vacationed with friends, so it wasn't just a romantic vacation for Harry and Kendall," a source explained.

Apparently, Styles and Jenner met a couple years ago in Los Angeles, but things may have only been taken to a certain level.

"They had fun then, but things never got serious," the source said of their previous meeting.

"He has thought all along that Kendall is hot and was sort of just waiting for a chance to spend more time with her again," the insider added about the One Direction singer. "New Year's worked out perfect, and he loved it."

Even though Jenner is reportedly back in Los Angeles, there's a good chance that she and Styles will hang out in the future.

"They will stay in touch and plan on meeting up soon again," the source said.

The vacation consisted of partying on a yacht, and even though they may not be dating, it definitely seems like there was some sexual tension lingering there.

"There has been a lot of flirting, touching and snuggling going on," the insider revealed. "They have acted like a couple. They look very cozy and happy."
