Actress Sherilyn Fenn looks to be returning for the upcoming Twin Peaks revival on Showtime!

First 'Twin Peaks' Teaser Is As Ominous As It Is Beautiful

Fenn, who played the young, seductive Audrey Horne on the original 1990-91 series, is reportedly coming back for the Twin Peaks revival, says Deadline. If true, it would be a highly anticipated reunion for her and Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Special Agent Dale Cooper on the series.

MacLachlan is the only official cast member confirmed as returning by Showtime. Dale and Audrey had quite the flirt-mance with each other throughout the first season, but they never fully got together. It remains to be seen if the characters will have any romantic interactions in the revival. The Deadline report says that Audrey is expected to have a "major presence" in the upcoming season.

While the original cast of Twin Peaks was wide and sprawling, Fenn became one of the true standouts. The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her performance.

Nowadays, Fenn has become a Showtime regular, with guest roles in Ray Donovan and the upcoming season of Shameless.

Meanwhile, the Deadline article also reports that Lara Flynn Boyle, who played Donna Hayward on the original series, has declined returning to the world of Twin Peaks. The actress has essentially distanced herself from the series, as she was one of few stars to not return for the 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and hasn't appeared in any retrospectives on the series.

Twin Peaks is expected to return in 2017 on Showtime.
