The NBA player is reportedly released from the hospital. Transferred from a Los Angeles hospital to a private facility but no words has spoken about the status of his condition, The Associated Press reveals the story.

A family spokesperson, Alvina Alston reveals with AP that Lamar had been released from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles earlier this week, following months of recovery from being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last October. Investigators believe he overdosed on cocaine and other drugs during a three-day stay.

Alston also added that Odom’s family is proud of what's termed his "miraculous and continued improvement" but isn't providing details of his condition.

According to reports, when the 36-year-old former NBA player was transferred from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in October, the family said he was undergoing therapy, was more responsive and had increased use of speech.

On the other hand, his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian also gave a positive update on Entertainment Tonight, saying that Lamar would be released "hopefully soon."

"He's definitely doing better and better every day which I'm so grateful for," the 31-year-old reality star added. "He's fighting really hard and I'm really proud of him for that fight and his will to want to get better."

The Kocktails With Khloe star also added, that she is impressed with how Lamar has recovered over the past few months. "I'm so proud of the strength that he has to fight this battle that's his battle," she told the audience. "And I'm so grateful for everybody's love and concern, because I think it is coming from a good place."
